About Rafting Osumi Canyon

A local team of guides in Çorovodë, running rafting and tubing on the Osum River.

Who We Are

Rafting Osumi Canyon is a local team based in Çorovodë, in the Skrapar region of southern Albania. We run rafting (February 1 to June 14) and tubing (June 15 to November 30) on the Osum River. Tours run as shared group departures at 10:30 and 14:00. Private tours are available on request.

Our guides are local people who grew up on the Osum River. Together, the team has more than 10 years of combined experience of rafting, tubing and hiking on it. All our guides are certified by the Albanian Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, and they speak French, English, Greek and Albanian.

Meet the Team

Our guides are Arbri, Eri, Ergen, Soni and Fernando.

Arbri completed a 320-hour tourist guide qualification with a rafting specialty at the University of Sports of Tirana (May–July 2025). Fernando completed a rafting training course organised to international standards at the same university (June 2025).

What We Offer

How We Run Tours

Every trip starts with a safety briefing. For rafting we provide a helmet, life jacket, paddle, wetsuit and neoprene shoes. The minimum age for rafting is 5 years and the minimum weight is 25 kg. The rapids are Class II–III, depending on water level and recent rain. Ask us for the current water level on WhatsApp or email.

We are based in Çorovodë, about 1.5 hours from Berat and about 3 hours from Tirana via Berat. Our meeting point is on Google Maps, and customers have parking at the meeting point. You can also find us on TripAdvisor and GetYourGuide. We have a 5.0 rating on Google.
