About This Hike
Full Canyon Hiking is a guided river hike through Osum Canyon. You drive 15 minutes up to the start point and hike down through the canyon to the end of the canyon, on water, rocks and sand. The hike is challenging in places: you walk in the river bed, and some sections are muddy and slippery, so hiking shoes are important.
Along the way there is optional jumping and swimming, when conditions allow, and you follow the guide's instructions. There are places where you must swim to cross the river, so basic swimming ability is required. At the end of the canyon, a 10-minute drive takes you back to the base.

Itinerary
Meet at the Rafting Osum Canyon base (Rruga Pasho Hysi, Çorovodë) 15 minutes before departure, at 11:00 or another time by arrangement.
15-minute drive to the start point.
Hike down through the canyon to the end of the canyon, on water, rocks and sand.
Optional jumping and swimming along the way, when conditions allow.
10-minute drive back to the base.

How long is the Full Canyon Hike?
The tour takes about 6 hours in total, including the 15-minute drive to the start point, the hike down through the canyon, optional jumping and swimming, and the 10-minute drive back to the base.
How difficult is it?
Challenging in places: hiking in the river bed, with some muddy and slippery sections. A guide is with the group throughout.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes. Basic swimming ability is required. The life jacket and wetsuit are provided, but there are places where you must swim to cross the river. The life jacket helps, but you still need to be able to swim. Jumping from rocks is optional.
What are the age limits?
The minimum age is 9 and the maximum age is 79. The hike is not suitable for children under 9, people over 79 or people who cannot swim.
What is included?
The price includes a guide, drinking water, a sandwich or snack and safety equipment (helmet, life jacket and wetsuit). Personal expenses are not included.
What should I wear and bring?
Bring sun cream and hiking shoes. The river hike is challenging, and some places are muddy and slippery, so hiking shoes matter. Helmet, life jacket and wetsuit are provided.
Can I jump into the water?
Jumping from a rock into the water is optional. It is only possible when conditions allow, and you follow the guide's instructions. You can choose not to jump.

The tour leaves at 11:00, and other times can be arranged. It costs €80 per person and runs from June 15 to October 5.
